Here are some Instagrams of what I did on my day off:
Tried on my new clothing purchases, and planned some outfits for Paris. The lip color is Red Velvet – Loving it for fall! I want to plan outfits, take pictures of each outift, and then be able to reference the photos if I’m feeling uninspired with what to wear one day. I think it’s a splendid idea!
I’ve been looking for the perfect flat shoes for a while now, and I am pleased to say that I have finally found them! I can’t imagine how I’ve live my whole entire life without owning a pair of genuinely comfortable shoes – it’s literally like walking on a pillow, or a cloud… a heavenly, beautiful cloud.
One of my oldest and best friends is getting married to a fantastic man, and last weekend was her wedding shower! My other best friend organized it, and it turned out so beautiful! This is what I wore. It was a hot, muggy day, so I wore the thinnest, lightest dress I own. By the way, this is my room back home at my parent’s house. These curtains from Ikea act as our closet doors.
This week I went camping in Central California. It was a bit chilly, but so refreshing, relaxing, and fun. I went with five of my best friends (minus a few that I missed terribly). Sometimes the most delicious food comes from cooking over a fire pit in the crisp beach air. You also come up with so many hilarious inside jokes on trips like these. I love my friends so much!
We trekked through Montana de Oro state park. The trail took us along the top of sea cliffs, and then to a beach full of angled rocks to climb and tide pools in which to observe anemones and sea snails. The beach itself was covered in smooth pebbles rather than sand, and my friend Monica and I had fun finding colorful or striped ones, or little shells. It was a beautiful trip. If you’re going to be in the area, I would recommend it.
Just thought I’d keep this post simple, and share with you some photos I took of this lovely floral arrangement my mother threw together from the left-over flowers of a bouquet. The colors are so bright, they cheered me right up!
